One of the items I received for Christmas was an ArtBin Sidekick Art & Craft Supply Storage with Paint Pallet Tray. It’s fantastic for organizing and for traveling with your art supplies. And did I mention it comes with a paint pallet tray?
Please check out my full review of this lovely at Doodlewash.
This morning I posted a review of the Hahnemühle 1584 Notebook at Doodlewash. The dot grid paper is so fine for creating step-outs and I love working on the purple paper for my examples. The color does half my work!
This was done in the Lilac version. I can’t wait to try out the Peach and Sea Green notebooks with the peach and green blank paper.
‘Tis the season that’s the reason for spending money on gifts for friends, family and, of course, yourself! Everyone’s compiling lists of their favorites and I’ve done the same.
There have been many innovative art supplies that hit the market over the last couple of years and many have become part of my daily use, so my list is made up of items that are just a little different in some way.
As part of the World Watercolor Month, Princeton Artist Co. sent me their two new travel sets – one Neptune set and one Elite set. Each has four rounds and a cool brush holder.
What is the set like? How do they differ from the traditional Neptune and Elite brushes? Head over to Doodlewash and read my review to find out!
Tomorrow, I have a tutorial coming out on the Zebra Pen blog. Be sure to check it out and learn how to draw a Fennec Fox!
World Watercolor Month is almost over! But it isn’t too late to join in with a painting or two, enter some of the giveaways and shop for cool World Watercolor Month merchandise that will no longer be available after July 31.
As part of the World Watercolor Month, Princeton Artist Co. sent me five of their Aqua Elite series of brushes. I received some cool specialty shapes – a dagger, a rigger, a mottler and two oval washes.
What are those? Are they good brushes? Head over to Doodlewash and read my review to find out!
