Painted Bunting

#DoodlewashAugust2022 prompt: Flutter.

Did you know that if you hear a flutter in the night, it might be painted buntings, who, like many species of bird, migrate at night?

This was a repeat of the experiment I did earlier this month (with a popsicle painting). I meant to use different paper to see if I could use salt over masking fluid. Unfortunately, forgetting which paper I used before, I grabbed the same kind. Ah well – repeating an experiment to see if you get the same results isn’t the worst way to go.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
