Cheer: #WorldWatercolorMonth2022

July is World Watercolor Month! To learn more about this, visit Doodlewash.

Um, yeah. I kinda went with cheers rather than cheer. I’m a scamp that way!

Did you know that in Medieval times, clinking glasses, cheering, or banging mugs on tables were all thought to scare off evil spirits? Sometimes, a small amount of drink was spilled on the floor in the hopes it would keep the spirits busy if they weren’t scared away. Even a bad spirit appreciates a good brew!

I deviated from my silhouette a bit because I was challenged by the idea of painting glass in an evening setting. I didn’t quite get the effect I was going for, but I’m satisfied.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
