Did you know that elephants, able to carry up to 7 tons, are the strongest land mammal by pure strength? The blue whale can generate up to 600 horsepower due to special muscles in the tail. And the strongest animal by body weight? The dung beetle, able to lift 1141 times their own weight!
While doing these silhouettes, I’ve been torn between adding highlights actually based on a light source, or using them purely to show more detail. I’ve been coming down on the side of detail. With this elephant though, I saw a stylized pattern happening, and decided to go with it. Who cares about realism anyway?
