Niagra Falls

#doodlewashApril2022 prompt: Waterfall.

If I were to travel to New York, I might see Niagra Falls (Bridal Veil to be exact).

Did you know Niagra Falls is actually three different waterfalls? American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are on the U.S. side; the Horseshoe Falls (aka Canadian Falls, where 90% of the water flows) are mostly on the Canadian side, but partially on the U.S. side.

I’m having trouble keeping things simple. I thought I had a stylization in mind that would do that, but it was still too grand for the size I’m working (approx. 5.5 inch square).

This is a good learning experience for me – I’m going against the grain, because I like lots of pattern and fussy detail.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
