The Tangled Pizza Fish

#doodlewashMarch2022: Pizza.

Did you know there really isn’t such a thing as a pizza fish, tangled or otherwise? However, there are recipes for adding cheese and various item to fish fillets and some people put fish on their pizzas, so the connection is clear! (fish on pizza!!! Yuck! Spit! Spit! Ack!)

This is another piece done in my new Mary Roff handmade multimedia journal. She gave me a list of papers used but not the order, so I’m guessing that this was sulphite or vellum. It’s a translucent paper and you’d think the color would slide right off. It does take a few minutes to dry, but once it does the color stays put. The reason there are two photos here is that I drew this on the front and colored it on the back, so I’m showing both sides.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. I still don’t understand fish tacos either. We have a major grocer here in Texas named HEB. (We’ve had Northern tourists get offended thinking it’s HEB as in HEBrew. It’s the owners initials. Henry E. Butt) They have all kinds of deals and a big one is called, “Combo Loco.” Crazy Combo because if you buy, let’s say, a gallon of milk, they’ll give you a bag of tortilla chips at a reduced price. Fish tacos and fish on pizza are horrible Combo Locos. Yuck! 😝😝😝
