#doodlewashFebruary2022: Seeds. Because hornbills eat fruit, and fruit has seeds. I know – weak, but it was the best I could come up with!
Did you know that the femaile silver cheeked hornbill seals herself up in a tree while nesting? She leaves an opening just wide enough for the male hornbill to pass food, such to her, and he feeds her until their chicks are ready to fly.

What interesting facts on this bird! And your drawing is excellent!!
Thank you so much, Jill! Your comment is much appreciated!
Okay, I am not sure how to say this, but I think this lady bird will push her booty up to the opening of the lodging and……squirt out her feces. I believe it’s her, but there is a bird that I know does this. I thought it was hilarious, but impressed that she wanted to keep her nest clean and hygienic.
I suspect you are correct. It would get awfully rank in there otherwise!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You made me laugh!
