Gray Horse

#DoodewashSeptember2021: Horse.

Did you know that a truly white horse is rare? Usually, a ‘white’ horse is born darker and lightens as it ages-they call them gray even if they aren’t.  Others are just very pale cream, or may be spotted like an appaloosa or pinto with very little colored pigment. Genetically, none are albinos.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. I love all your work but I must say this is beautiful. The way you’ve shown the shape of the head is spectacular 🙂

  2. I didn’t know that about “white” horses. That’s very interesting! Your white horse really IS colorful!
