Red Boots

Did you know that Wellington boots were made of leather originally, until vulcanized rubber became available in the 1850’s.

The Doodlewash prompt for today is Boots. I decided to use it even though my painting is acrylic so it isn’t official.

This time I used a mixed media paper that works for acrylic as well as other mediums. It worked very well!

  • Paint-Liquitex & Holbein Acryla Gouache (acrylic)
  • Paper: Hahnemühle Universal Block Mixed Media Sketch Pad
  • Brushes: Aook oil, acrylic & watercolor brushes

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
