View From the Office Window

#DoodlewashAugust2021 prompt: Bookshelf. Okay, you can’t see it, but this office has a bookshelf right under the window.. See – the painting fits the prompt perfectly!

A while back I drew a grid in my Hahenmühle Watercolour Sketchbook, planning to paint a color chart. I messed up the lines and had to start over on another page. While flipping through the sketchbook, I saw the grid and decided to ‘save’ it. After, taping off the grid, I did one of my loose & lovely landscapes behind it. After, letting it dry and pulling off the tape, I painted in the window.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. You know how I feel about this one….great shadows on the window panes….and such loose flowing landscape of Summer flowers!
