Tutorial: How to Paint a Fizzy Drink in Watercolor

It’s World Watercolor Month, and today’s optional prompt is Effervescent. That’s hard to paint until you consider that Fizzy is another word for effervescent.

As part of ZenArt’s World Watercolor Month series of tutorials, I’ve made this video showing you how to paint a Fizzy Drink!

Later today, I have a review of Aquafine’s Watercolor Inks up at Doodlewash! And if you go back one post, you’ll find a giveaway – a chance for someone to win a set of these Aquafine Watercolor Inks!

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. Such a fun exercise! Well done! Your painting reminded me of when “Fizzies” first came out in the late 50’s. So magical. Not that tasty ~ but a fun science experiment in a glass! 🙂
