Pansies for Reflection

It’s July! It’s a month! It’s World Watercolor Month!

#WorldWatercolorMonth prompt: Reflection. One of the things that Pansies symbolize is reflection.

To prepare for a busy World Watercolor Month, I carved some Speedy-cut blocks into simple stamps as frames for  1 x 1 1/2 in paintings

Angela Fehr’s prompts are open to interpretation, so I decided to make them all about flowers – the prompt word in the flower name, or what the flower symbolized. Like that.

  • Pen-Zebra Zensations Technical Pen 0.3
  • Paint-Aquafine Watercolor
  • Paper-Hahnemühle Grey-toned Watercolor Paper
  • Brush-ZenArt Black Tulip brush

It’s World Watercolor Month! Feel free to join in at any time!

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
