Loose & Lovely Garden with a Little Lavender

#DoodlewashJune2021 prompt: Lavender.

I was playing around with the wet-in-wet technique and decided to create a garden. And there’s some lavender in there. My gardens have every kind of flower, lol.

I was playing with this method as an idea for comparing different types of watercolor – pan, tube & watercolor inks. You’ll be seeing how I do this in some upcoming World Watercolor Month Reviews.

  • Paint- Aquafine watercolor
  • Paper- Strathmore Ready-Cut
  • Brush- ZenArt Black Tulip brushes.

Don’t forget – July is World Watercolor Month!

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
