I stumbled on some old Speedy Cut blocks that I had, and it occurred to me that I always end up doing some mini-drawings or paintings for World Watercolor Month. Why not get ready for it?
So I quickly cut a Speedy Cut image meant to look like a postage stamp. I don’t think it does, but it works for what I had in mind. I stamped several of the image on some Hahnemühle beige-toned watercolour paper and each will be the frame for a mini-drawing or painting done for the July Doodlewash prompts. I’ve already figure out how one page is going to have a theme of flowers.
I’m pumped because – July is World Watercolor Month!
