#DoodlewashJune2021 prompt: Chickadee.
Did you know that chickadees hide food like squirrels and similar animals do? Unlike most animals, though, the chickadee hides each item in a separate place and is able to remember where each item is. Some believe they can remember thousands of hiding places.
Playing with both a new paper and a new watercolor, so I kept going even after I felt the piece was done, just to try out a few things.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

I am a bird fan…but this one really grabbed my heart! That rusty wing against the deep blue. You rocked the soft, downy texture of those puffed up feathers! Swoon.
Thank you, Judy! Trying out more new watercolors! They’re pouring in for World Watercolor Month!
