Birthday Bouquet with Glass Vase

#doodlewashMay2021 prompt: Glass.

My birthday was last week, and one of my gifts was a beautiful bouquet of flowers and another was a collection of sketchbooks. Unfortunately, since I was visiting in Florida, I had to leave the bouquet behind when I left for home.

But I used one of the sketchbooks to capture the bouquet forever! Along with a photo or two.

I haven’t got to it, but I intend to do the birthday cake too. I did get to take much of it home – in the form of bulges around my waist! That cake looked so much better before I ate it!

  2. SO fun to get a peek at your party…and your bouquet is so lovely….I’m very fond of that scribbly glass vase!
and yes….I feel the same ~ all baked good look better in the box than on the bottom! 🙂
so glad you had family to celebrate with!

    1. Thank you, Judy! It was the first time I’ve celebrated my birthday with family in at least 20 years. I’ve seen them, but it just never chanced to be on my birthday, so that really made it special. That’s one of the problems with having family scattered all around the world.
