Egret and Bigger Bird

This is another piece that I worked on while visiting family in Florida. I started on the flight there and added bits and pieces when I had a moment or two. For some reason, I packed it in my main bag instead of my carry-on for the flight back, so it didn’t get finished until yesterday.

That Egret might want to think about hiding because the bigger bird doesn’t look too friendly!

Done with Zebra Technical Pen in a Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook.

  1. What wondrous and elegant bird images….I agree the foreground egret had better keep a lookout!

  2. I have looked at this several times today and I am just now seeing the bigger bird. Hahaha! I was looking at everything else.
