#DoodlewashJanuary2021 prompt: Seeds
Did you know that until the 1800s, save for the wealthy, people pulled grass to make room for more useful plants like dandelions?

I did not know that. interesting. here in Maine they consider dandelions to be weeds. I think they are beautiful.
I think most States in the U.S. look at dandelions as weeds, and lawns as necessary, even though they’re bad for the environment.
Explosive and beautiful indeed! Such a humble weed has such amazing life stages. The yummy greens at first for salads, the brilliant butter yellow blooms for the insects, the magical seed-globe for children of the world to blow on for wishes.
Lol! Thank you, Judy. I well remember wishing on dandelions and sending out the seeds to grow all over the lawn.
