Did you know that tadpoles are also called polliwogs, a word meaning ‘head’ and ‘wiggle’.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

you did this with the clip pens? I would have no idea how to go about that. nice work, sandra ❤
Thank you, Alice! I did this on some of the heavy rough Collection paper. It’s a little soft and absorbent so I was able to build up lots of color.
As always, I love your artwork! oh, and I always love the nature info that you always include. Thanks for sharing your wonderful work.
Many thanks, Leslie!
Wow!
Thank you, Phillis!
I can remember buckets and buckets of tadpoles every Spring on the porch! We kids would watch them slowly grow out of their slimy egg sack, lose their tails, see little eyes, grow little feet….magical science projects from our local swamp!
That sounds amazing, Judy! I don’t remember seeing tadpoles when I was growing up. Probably we weren’t close enough to bodies of water. I think I missed out!
