Did you know that while a goat most commonly has 2-3 kids in a litter, the world’s record is 7! Poor mama!

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

I miss our goats. So cute!
Thank you, Alice! I would think goats were a lot of fun. A lot of work, too!
Just want to reach out and cuddle this little one ❤️
Thank you, Phillis!
What a precious, little kid!!!! Our neighbors had some and they always sounded like kids locked out of the house! Crying, “Mama! Mama!” It about broke my heart….
Thank you, Pam! They do make interesting sounds. I’ve always been glad that I wasn’t around any of the screaming goats.
Oh, I LOVE this! What beautiful coloring in this. And such a hug-able kid! I grew up with goats next door….raised by a very old man who lived in a “shack” alone….his name was Pete Urkle….we kids called him “goat Peter” (from the Heidi story.) We had fresh goat’s milk…(I didn’t love it!) delivered everyday for my brother was was asthmatic and allergic to dairy. Thanks for reminding me of this story through this sweet painting. MOST of your paintings bring up memories for me….they ARE spirit animals! 😉
Thank you so much, Judy! It sounds like you had a wonderful childhood, and I’m glad my work brings back such cherished memories!
