Kitten Puffball-Postcards for the Lunch Bag

Doodlewash prompt: Kitten. Did you know that kittens sleep up to 22 hours a day at first, then 18-20, averaging around 16 hours once they are adults?

I decided I had better go back to doing some regular watercolor before I forget how it differs from gouache!

Artwork-QoR Watercolor on Hahnemühle hot press ‘The Collection’ Watercolor paper. I used YinMn Blue for the eyes and background.

  1. This moment of softness was brought to you by Sandra! Yikes, you have NOT forgotten how to use your watercolor! This is such a lovely kitten….I would like to pick her up for a cuddle! 🙂

  2. What a sweet little puffball! I’ve had cats most of my adult life. We had dogs when I was a kid because Mom didn’t like cats. But I love cats! I’ve never had a white one though….most of mine are black or black and white. You definitely remember how to use watercolor!
