Fresh Air in Colored Pencil

#DoodlewashJanuaryPrompt: Fresh Air. Did you know that fresh air helps you digest food more efficiently?

I haven’t used my colored pencils for a while so I decided to use them for a change. Hmmm! I think I ended up making the nightgown more see-through than I meant to!

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. LOVELY!!! I love colored pencils! Tt’s been a long time since I’ve gotten mine out! This is wonderful. That woman is looking out on a new day…perfect for this New Year and our hunger for hope. She is also wonderfully transparent….which is a sign to me of our need for transparency and honesty going forward. HOWEVER….she does not resembled the body shape of most of house who have been sheltered in for nearly 10 months with only food for comfort! hahahaha!

  2. We’ve had a lot of darkness lately. I’d love to have French doors and be able to enjoy a sunny morning. This is a fun drawing, sketchy and loose, and tells a nice story. Your gift is inspiring the rest of us!!!!
