#DoodlewashJanuaryPrompt: Fresh Air. Did you know that fresh air helps you digest food more efficiently?
I haven’t used my colored pencils for a while so I decided to use them for a change. Hmmm! I think I ended up making the nightgown more see-through than I meant to!

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

hahahaha! I thought that nightgown was a little gauzy – I love it!
Thank you, Alice! I was trying to get that feeling of intense shadow you get in bright light and suddenly realized I’d exposed a bit too much, lol.
LOVELY!!! I love colored pencils! Tt’s been a long time since I’ve gotten mine out! This is wonderful. That woman is looking out on a new day…perfect for this New Year and our hunger for hope. She is also wonderfully transparent….which is a sign to me of our need for transparency and honesty going forward. HOWEVER….she does not resembled the body shape of most of house who have been sheltered in for nearly 10 months with only food for comfort! hahahaha!
Lol! Thank you, Judy! Too true, but it’s a sign of hope that we will soon be back to our usual activities and shapelier selves!
The light from the doorway and the transparency are delicately presented. Perfect painting for a hopeful new year.
Thank you, Sharon! I think I needed that transparency to get the feeling of light that I wanted. Sometimes, the muse knows what to do when the brain doesn’t, lol.
We’ve had a lot of darkness lately. I’d love to have French doors and be able to enjoy a sunny morning. This is a fun drawing, sketchy and loose, and tells a nice story. Your gift is inspiring the rest of us!!!!
Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment, Pam!
Wonderful!
Thank you!
