The Path

Doodlewash prompt: Path.

Did you know that the term ‘Silk Road’ actually refers to the many pathways used by traders traveling between Europe and East Asia for over 1,500 years, rather than a single road or route.

This was done in about 10 minutes using left-over gouache from my palette in a more traditional watercolor manner.

Artwork-Gouache on a sample sheet of Hahnemühle cold press ‘The Collection’ Watercolor paper. Inspired by Victoria_Borodinova’s photos on Pixabay.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. I love how you’ve made something so beautiful just by using up leftover paints on a sample sheet.
