Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

he is amazing – I have always liked yaks, interesting creatures
Thank you, Alice. Yaks are amazing.
Oh my, this handsome yak would be my Christmas card in a heart-beat! What a handsome, unshorn, hulk of a guy!
You did him proud! Such an interesting point about him swimming in sub-zero temperature. With that hairy bathing suit….I might too. He must have a lot of oil to coat that mane….else he would drown from the weight! These paintings are always the best way to start my day! Thank you!
Thank you so much, Judy!
What a powerful image of the yak, Sandra. I don’t usually think of them in the snow, but of course they would have to survive every winter in frigid conditions. Your use of gouache is masterful – not heavy at all.
Thank you so much, Sharon! Gouache is actually a very flexible medium that you can use in a variety of ways. I do think the brand matters, though.
Loving your postcards for the lunch and and your informative tag lines 😍🎉
Thank you so much!
The gouache book looks so inviting! I used to do a lot of tole and decorative painting. I honestly almost ordered the book until…. I realized I’m trying to get rid of things in this stage of my life. I don’t need a new hobby. But, Sandra, it is sooooo tempting! And, yes, your yak is AMAZING!
Lol! Thank you, Pam! I know what you mean. I fought getting into gouache, but had the chance to review some and became an instant fan! Now I’m trying to convince myself that-no- I don’t need more colors.
