Evening in Red-Gold and Lavender

Did you know that according to statistics, in 2020, 56% of the world’s population lives in cities?

This line and wash painting took me forEVER! I got out the ruler and really tried to get the perspective right and that is not my forte at all. It made me remember why I seldom worry about precision in perspective. Does me good to work at getting it right, once in a while. Once in a very great while.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. I’m glad you took the time and effort….it was worth it. Glorious. Hard to believe such a vibrant painting could come from three colors. You rocked it!
