Doodlewash Doodles – August, Week 2

Yes. That’s how far behind I am. These are Doodlewash prompts for the 2nd week of August!

The other thing of note is that I drew this with Zebra Pens Sarasa Clip Gel Retractable Pens (yes! You can use them like they were watercolor!) in a Hahnemühle Nostalgie Sketchpad (yes! Nostalgie paper now comes in PADS!) AND…

Tomorrow, I have a giveaway for someone to win –

One Hahnemühle Nostalgie SketchPad-Portrait 5.8 x 8.3 in./14.8 x 21 cm.
One Pkg 20-Count Sarasa Clip Gel Retractable Pens in Assorted Colors
One Pkg 8-Count Sarasa Clip Gel Retractable Pens in Shiny Colors
One Pkg 9-Count Sarasa Clip Gel Retractable Pens in Milk Colors

The Poem with Doodlewash Prompts italicized.

A paleontologist dances a jig,

A historic moment has occurred at his dig!

With tools of patience and shovel and brush,

He’s uncovered a fossil with bones uncrushed.

A creature with paddle-like flippers he’s freed.

The magpie thinks, ‘There’s nothing left for a feed!’

It laughs, his feet on the barbed-wire fence,

And decides that the dance makes little sense.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
