Artwork-Faber-Castell Watercolor in a Hahnemühle Nostalgie Sketchbook
I decided to do all the remaining prompts for the month on this page – 10 of them! To be truthful, the prompts just weren’t bringing any images to mind, but I could see a story, so I just painted a couple of images and let the words do the rest.
The Rhino’s Tear – I butchered the words to a favorite song. It will never go down as one of history’s greatest, but hey! I got in all the words and they almost work to the music.
Yesterday … an abundance of rhinos were around to play,
now most of them have gone away
a few alone are left today
if only we could d0-over yesterday.
Why they had to go, I hate to say
their horns so sharp were torn away
so valuable but gone away.
I sup-pose the shine of tears is complementary.
