Doodlewash Prompt. Fruit.
Did you know that animal species, such as this coati that prefer fruit are called frugivores?
The coati is also called a coatimundi, or Hog-Nosed Raccoon. They are members of the raccoon family.
I was so mad – I was almost done with this painting when I spilled water all over it. I was able to save it, but it isn’t nearly as good as it was before the spill.

A watercolor painting damaged by water – it happens but you salvaged this so well, it’s still amazing. Has a nearly three dimensional quality.
Thank you, Sharon! The main effect was that I couldn’t add more color, so this coati is much paler than he would have been.
I would have never known you spilled water all over it unless you had told me. Looks great to me.
Thank you, Jackie! It ended up being much paler than it would have otherwise. That’s the only real effect.
Cute!
Thank you, Alice!
I’d love to have seen this before the “baptism!” because I can’t imagine what could make it better!
Thank you, Judy! It would have been much more colorful. After it got so wet, I couldn’t get the paper to accept more color.
