Doodlewash Prompt. Fruit.

Did you know that animal species, such as this coati that prefer fruit are called frugivores?

The coati is also called a coatimundi, or Hog-Nosed Raccoon. They are members of the raccoon family.

I was so mad – I was almost done with this painting when I spilled water all over it. I was able to save it, but it isn’t nearly as good as it was before the spill.

Remember -July is (drum beat) … WORLD WATERCOLOR MONTH! Be sure to check Doodlewash for giveaways and check out the cool World Watercolor Month items for sale! The goal is to raise money for The Dreaming Zebra Foundation and support arts education and our future artists.

Life Imitates Doodles Art, Reviews & Tutorials

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. I would have never known you spilled water all over it unless you had told me. Looks great to me.

  2. I’d love to have seen this before the “baptism!” because I can’t imagine what could make it better!
