Emerald Duck – Postcards for the Lunch Bag

Artwork-Zebra Zensations Technical Pen, watercolor and Van Gogh Interference watercolor on a Hahnemühle Cold Press Watercolor Postcard. Reference photo courtesy of Pixel-mixer on Pixabay.

I’m having problems with my back, so my posting may be spotty for a few days. You never know with your back.

Doodlewash prompt: Emerald. My emerald duck didn’t come out very emerald-y and looks a bit dull, but he’s actually green and shiny because I used some interference colors on him.

Did you know that ducks have three eyelids? One on top, one on bottom, and a clear one on the side, that acts much like goggles!

  1. Fantastic duck and I like the outcome of colours, they are wonderful. He shines when out in the pond, they all do.
Take care, back issue are tricky and I wish you a speedy recovery.

  2. Beautiful colors with that bit of iridescence that hits in sunlight.
I hope your back gets better soon….and you will heal like water off a duck’s back! 🙂
Take care…and don’t worry about posting until you are feeling good!
