Doodlewash Prompt: Blue Jays. I took the liberty of painting a scrub jay – they’re as blue as blue jays, since none of them are actually blue. It’s just a trick of the light. True fact.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. it’s gorgeous, like your style and variation of colours throughout the bird. Enjoy the tip pits you provide on your subjects and being Canadian you would think I would know this, nope. It’s nice to learn something new.

  2. we have a lot of crows in Maine. love it when the sunlight hits their feathers and you see that blue-black shine!
