Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

Buttercups are a very sentimental flower for me. (You don’t seem them as often today…I was raised in the country, full of pasture land.) These are EXTRA special! They are the essence of a wildflower and such a buttery color!
Thank you, Judy! I always lived in the burbs, but when I was a kid there were always buttercups all around. Fields all around for that matter. I miss wide open spaces and farm animals mixed in with the suburban housing.
So gorgeous, and brilliantly rendered here. I’ve always loved buttercups, and when I was very little, spent hours patiently searching for them between the blades of grass. I just finished a watercolor painting of flowers that included buttercups – for my older son and daughter-in-law.
Ooh! Pretty!
Thank you, Alice!
Beautiful!!
Many thanks, Mary!

Thank you, Sharon! It’s amazing any buttercups are left with all the kids picking them, lol. I did the same thing.
That is stunning! Wow 2000 species! That’s a lot of gold!
Thank you, Susan!
