Doodlewash prompt: Eggshell
Did you know that the Cassowary is considered to be the world’s most dangerous bird? They have killed humans with their incredibly sharp claws. Their eggs come in various shades of pale green and blue. Once the female lays the eggs, she wanders off and the male takes care of them and then the chicks for up to a year.
This was a BIG bird to fit on a postcard, so I used Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleedproof White to get the highlights on the feathers.

I enjoy all the animal and bird facts you share. I was talking about your dad’s work with mark just yesterday.
Thank you, Alice! I enjoy looking up the facts. You can never know too much trivia. It makes people think you’re smart, lol, when you’v e just memorized a lot of useless information.
Whoa-a! It looks like a cross between a rooster and a dinosaur, and I may just be close on this one! Love it, Sandra!
Thank you, Kathy. More and more, scientists are believing that birds are what remains of dinosaurs. Between the cassowary and the shoebill, I can believe it.
