Doodlewash Prompt: Lilac
In the world of cat shows, there is a pale grey color of fur that is called Lilac. I didn’t even try to be exact since I don’t have a real-life model, and have only seen the color once, years ago.
The model in my reference photo is a Selkirk Rex, a fairly recent breed noted for it’s long, curly hair.

Looks like someone go up on the wrong side of the bed. Although he’s cuddling looking and so fluffy, I’ll over look that look in his eyes…, you certainly captured Mr. HAPPY’s good side of his profile, and I use that name loosely Ha Ha Ha. Wonderfully did another one to cheer up this overcast day and leap ahead 1 hour. Sure my cat’s can tell time, 6:20am on the clock doesn’ tmean breakfast time, should have gotten up at 7:30 on Sunday with the time change…I seriously have to have a word with Lexie and Maisie. Enjoy your Sunday, see you Monday……
Many thanks, Joan! Cats really do the grumpy look well! It’s part of their charm. Happy Daylight Savings Time!
He is wonderful! You nailed the fur! It looks curly/kinky with a hint of lilac.
Thank you, Lori! I’ve seen one of these cats. They’re beautiful, but I’ll bet that coat is a nightmare to keep the knots out.
I hadn’t thought of that. I have a hard time with our long haired cat, add curls and you truly would have a hairball. Lololol!
