Did you know that the grizzly bear is a North American subspecies of the brown bear? It has white tips to its fur that give it a ‘grizzled’ appearance.

We had a big bearskin rug with huge head growing up. It was my favorite place to take a nap….and he resembled this drawing…though I would have loved to have him purple! 🙂
