Zebra Zensations Technical pens on Hahnemuhle Nostalgie Postcards
Prompts:
- Inktober – Dragon
- Doodlewash – Reptile
If I hadn’t decided to use the Inktober/October prompts for my titles, I would have called this one the ‘Fires of Indegestion’. The dragon is fierce and stately creature, but prone to heartburn, tinder stones, and burnt breath.

Today is the twelfth day of Inktober, where anyone who is interested is challenged to do an ink drawing every day! There are prompts: Jake Parker (founder of Inktober) has an official list, but many others have put out lists as well, including the usual set of prompts from Doodlewash.com.
The official Inktober Prompt List.

And the Doodlewash prompt list for the month.

Zebra Pen is joining the fun with a month-long challenge, giving you the chance to win $250 dollars worth of pen products! Just follow zebrapen_us and zebrapen_canada on Instagram, and when you post your Inktober drawing there, use the hashtags #zensationschallenge #Inktober2019 and #Inktober.

Wow! This is really terrific!
Thank you, Ann! Dragons are one of my favorite things to draw!
Love your dragon reptile!
Thank you, Susan!
Your humor is always a match for your talent! This guy needs some TUMS for sure. No more Taco Tuesdays for him.
Thank you, Judy! I hadn’t planned on such a glum expression, but as soon as I saw it, I knew what the poor guy’s problem was.
Poor guy – he looks so sad and miserable (and CUTE!!)….
Thank you, Mariam!
love this guy with the fierce heartburn! ❤ I'm using your dragonfly pattern in my group for today's inktober post 🙂
Thank you, Alice, for both the compliment and for sharing my pattern!
Heartburn is no fun, especially a dragon who’s dependent on fiery breath! But he got a great portrait made by you.
Thank you, Sharon. I suspect the dragon would rather have an anti-acid than a portrait, though.
