If you are looking for the Life Imitates Doodles Weekly Wednesday Giveaway #14 , you can find it here.
Today, my hubby took a black sheep in his lunchbag.
The Doodlewash prompt for today is … wait for it … ‘black sheep’! No surprise there.
I thought ‘oh, I’ve got to do something unique for this prompt’. Then I realized that I’ve never painted a black sheep. So I had to do one. HAD to!
Usually, I use pen first, but since this guy was going to be black, I felt pen would just get lost and wasn’t really needed.
Black paint is usually boring so I used a mix of Permanent Alizarin Crimson and Phthalo Green, mixing them on the paper, to create my almost black. Quinacridone Gold, for the eye and the background, really made my mix POP!

Thank you, Alice! This is one that just seemed to paint itself.
Love the ‘black’!
Thank you, Susan! Alizarin Crimson and Phthalo Green make a lovely, lively black.
I think this black sheep just wants a bit of positive attention, so here it is: You are one handsome dude.
Lol! My black sheep says ‘Thank you, but I am baaaaa-d!’ Sorry. Couldn’t resist!
