Blue-footed Boobies are True Blue

If you are looking for the Life Imitates Doodles Weekly Wednesday Giveaway #14 , you can find it here.

Today, my hubby took a Blue-footed Booby in his lunchbag. My friend Kathy Delumpa Allegri suggested I do a blue-footed booby and finally, I did!

The Doodlewash prompt for today is ‘True Blue’. And nothing says True Blue like the blue-footed booby. Evidently the females go wild for blue, and choose the guys with the bluest feet.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

  1. I did one of these fellas when I 1st started watercolor it was so fun to find them and learn about this marine animal. The males do a synchronized mating dance to attract their mate of choice.

  2. Heh! Heh! Heh! You said ‘Boobie’, Heh! Heh! Seriously though, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your animal postcards. I have saved a lot of them to my screensaver slide show and they always make me smile!
