Sketchbook Revival – Glass Frog

If you are looking for the Life Imitates Doodles Weekly Wednesday Giveaway #13 , you can find it here.

The Doodlewash prompt for today is Frog. I wanted to do a frog, but I also wanted to use the techniques from the exclusive free download that Charlie O’Shields included in his session of the Sketchbook Revival workshop.

The result is this glass frog. I probably should have stuck with just a glass frog and not tried to turn it into an aquarium, but I often think I learn more when I stretch myself.

Sketchbook Revival is free workshop hosted by Karen Abend with 26 artists to help you with Inspiration, Tips & Techniques for Your Sketchbook Practice.

It’s already started, but there’s still time to enjoy because the videos are available through May 4.

Author: Life Imitates Doodles Art, Reviews & Tutorials

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
