  1. Yes, I love working on black paper, especially with the glimmery metallics (watercolors or pens)! The colors really pop on the black background. Thanks for the chance to win!

  2. I have always loved the contrast of drawing on black paper. Finally (at your recommendation) got myself the Uniball Signo broad tipped white pen and am having a blast with it! Thanks for your generosity in conducting these give-aways.

  3. Love it! It is different than creating on white, which makes it challenging and fun! Plus I love the way it looks 🙂

  4. To be honest I don’t know that I have tried drawing on black paper. I do love the projects I have seen though and would love to try! Thank you for another amazing opportunity!!!

  5. I have never tried, but since I’m only comfortable drawing with pencil I wouldn’t think I’d like it at all since it would be hard to see the lines.

  6. Yes I love to utilise black paper with white gel pens and glimmery metallic pens. The contrast is very interesting and beautiful. Thank you so much for the opportunity. 💖

  7. Haven’t had much practice with it but I do find it very soothing to do so. I love drawing on black paper because it’s like a whole other set of rules that you can create of your own!

  8. Haven’t drawn much on black at all, but recently purchased a white gel pen to give it a try. I also love the look!

  9. I can’t say yes or no. I’ve never tried it! But I’m inspired now to go get some black paper. Thanks again for a chance to win Sandra! I love your blog. One never knows what awaits and your animal combinations are wonderful!

  10. I love working on black paper it took me about 3 months to hunt down one that had a lot of pages in a sketchbook lol.

  11. I tried black paper a few times before. Strong contrasts with pastel or opaque. I’d like to use gouache on it one of these days.

  12. I have never worked on black paper, and I would love to try some out. Thanks for all your great giveaways.

  13. I can’t say I’ve ever worked on black paper other than the color changing kind when I was a kid. I think it could be really fun though!

  14. Like to work with metallic pens and watercolors on black, but for a classic look nothing beats white paint pen.

  15. Metallic and opaque gelli roll pens work nicely on black paper, and so does acrylic or opaque watercolour paint. I have black w/c cards and black writing paper, and have fun using both. I’d love to try using brush pens, and who doesn’t want a little black book? Love the piggy paper clips, too. I would be sending snail mail to my Grands in Australia, piggy-pinned for sure! Thanks for the chance to win!

  16. I had never drawn on black paper until I won the little Hahnemeule book and I’m not sure I have all the right materials but it’s great fun to see how different something looks!

  17. Oh yes, I love to use black paper, the drawing stands out. Especially my calligraphy and handlettering, when I use gold ink in black paper, the look is so gorgeous.

  18. I really enjoy using black paper. I like to do colored pencils, metallic inks, and metallic watercolors. The watercolor shimmers as they flow around the water sitting on top of the paper is mesmerizing.

  19. Working on black paper is cool when I have nice bright white or pretty metallic pens to use on it. Thanks for the giveaway.

  20. Working on black paper is fun but a challenge for me. It’s kind of like negative painting… maybe I just need more practice. Thanks for such a great giveaway.

  21. I love working on black paper with white or metallic markers or paint. I love the dramatic contrast. Even when the art, tangling or calligraphy is not great, a beautiful gold on black looks stunning!

  22. I have not done a lot on black paper, when I have worked on black tiles – was fun to use white gelly roll pens.

  23. I LOVE drawing on black paper—when I use white and colored inks, they POP against the black background! 🙂

  24. It’s a slow process for me but if I keep practicing, I know I will do better. I do enjoy it though.

  25. It would be fascinating to draw on black paper for the very first time. I love bright colours or metallics so that would look great on black paper.

  26. I have done a few drawings on black paper. The first were with only white ink for the classic white /black effect. The next were with Gelly Roll Pens and the colors were beautiful against the black paper. I need lots more practice with black paper!
