The Life Imitates Doodles Weekly Wednesday Giveaway #8, can be found here.
Thank you, thank you, Lynne!
I was surprised and oh-so-thrilled to receive a package from Lynne Howard yesterday.
It contained not one, but two works of art and the cutest little standing easel.
The tangled tile with Thank You note is fun and whimsical, and the acrylic canvas … it takes my breath away.
There is a poem by Robert Frost, ‘Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening’. Even though Lynne’s painting isn’t of a snowy day, it has that atmospheric feeling that the poet expresses in the last stanza of his poem …
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
by Robert Frost
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep. “
Thank you, Lynne!
