Did you know that although the lion is called the King of the Jungle, only Asiatic lions live in a jungle? And despite being called the King of Beasts, their behavior is often less than kingly. Because of their size, energy must always be conserved, so they would much rather steal prey from wild dogs and hyenas than hunt it themselves. And the poor hyenas are the ones that get the bad rep! Isn’t that always the way?
