Giant Panda in a Black Book

If you are here for the Weekly Wednesday Giveaway #4, you can find it here. The Hahnemühle Black Book is one of the prizes in this week’s giveaway!

Artwork: Zebra Pen Milk-color and Signo Uniball White gel pen in a Hahnemühle Black Book.

Today my hubby took a Giant Panda in his lunch bag.
Did you know that the scientific name of the giant panda, Ailuropoda melanoleuca, means …

“black and white cat-foot” and isn’t that appropriate?

  1. Wow, never thought of pandas as anything cat-like, especially their feet…Thanks for the food for thought.

  2. He almost appears 3D, thanks again Sandra for sharing your artwork. I imagine your Hubby’s coworkers wsait to see what he finds in his lunch everyday!

  3. This giant panda is wonderful. I guess not all husbands were created equal. I love my guy but he is color blind and not too art minded. He likes me to make art and never asks to see it. He does like a painting I did of an osprey that is on the den wall. It’s probably the trout in the osprey’s talons that catches my fisherman’s eye!
