Polar Tortoise


Did you know that the Polar Tortoise is a perfect example of …

… mimicry in nature? During the warmer Artctic months, his shell makes him look like part of the fields of wildflowers.  In the colder weather, predators mistake him for a polar bear and leave him alone.
