Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

As wonderfully whimsical as these critters are – I really love the detail you put into each one. I am relatively sure that you don’t have a reference photo to draw from!!
Thank you, Chris. I call up photos of the animals I intend to use and try to find ones where both critturs have a similar pose and that use them to figure out my detail. I do end up having to make up a lot of it. That’s where pattern and stylization help out.

She’s sooooooooooo cute and colorful.
Thank you, Betsy! I really enjoyed creating her and deciding what her story would be.
Thank you, Betsy!
your names for your critters are as entertaining as the stories you write about them ❤
Thank you, Alice! It’s definitely an exercise in creativity all around!
