My Dyan Reavely Creative Dylusions journal is the one I grab when I want to wind down and do something that takes about 15 minutes, and is kind of messy.
I’m creating backgrounds throughout the entire journal, and then I intend to come back and finish each page one by one.
Thought I’d share some of the backgrounds I’ve done so far.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.

I have one of these journals, still in pristine condition.
I really need to throw some colour on it. 🙂
Doing it this way is almost as relaxing as Zentangle–though it wouldn't be very portable, lol. It's freeing, just spraying and spritzing and smudging and dripping and dropping the colors!
But be careful with colors that can pool in the center. I ended up with a muddy stripe going down the center of many pages because color seeped through at the binding.
