Bleedthrumanade with Tulips and Cough Syryp

My two attempts to ‘Biggify’ for Laura Harms’ Weekly Challenge No 50
I had to admit that this wasn’t my favorite challenge.  I like working small detail into big areas and had to use a Micron Graphic size 2 to keep myself from going to small.  But I just had to add some contrast to the small lines in Black Tulip. After all, contrast is Everything!
I wanted to have marked contrast on the two pages so I pulled out my Pentel Big Brushes on Cough Syrup for shading, striping, and coloring the buttons.
The last page in this Moleskine journal! Yay! Another Journal finished.

Author: Life Imitates Doodles Art, Reviews & Tutorials

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
