I won a copy of 365 Things To Write About!

Julie O’Kami wrote a review about 365 Things To Write About, a prompt book to get you writing.  She always had a giveaway for a copy, and I won!

One of the cool things is this prize is that there is a community and you can share how you are using the book. It makes me think a little bit of the NanoWriMo challenge (National Novel Writing Month–every November, this group challenges you to write a novel), only you aren’t limited to a month.

There is a blog: 365ThingsToWriteAbout.com and there is a Facebook Page:365 Things to Write About.

You know I’ll review the book when I get it, but, from August 1, 2011 through October 31, 2011, the authors are donating 100% of the their royalties from the sales  to the Los Angeles Fund for Public Education.

I don’t know if I’ll get my review done before the 31st (though I’ll try!), since I don’t even have the book yet, so if you are remotely interested in this kind of book, please surf over to Julie’s review and investigate further.  Christmas is coming up and this might be a good way to buy presents and help others at the same time.

Artist Ambassador for Zebra Pens. I'm a self-taught artist who dances about with all sorts of artistic mediums. My main loves are Watercolor, Zentangle and Ballpoint pen. The subjects of my work are many and varied and change at whim. I'm a little bit crazy, but doesn't that come with being an artist? At my Life Imitates Doodles Blog, I post a list of resource links for Tangles, Tutorials and Giveaways two times a week. I also write reviews, hold giveaways and share my art work.
